ICFAI Campus Queries and Call Converts 2006-08 (Consolidated Thread)

hi junta, ICFAI B'glore was my first choice after HYD & i took it.. I too am not happy with the reviews but placement scenario is changin every year for ICFAI . NOT SO GOOD part is the infrastructure but guys we've to set our priorities in order..
roll in more info, im researchin too.

There wasnt anything much to do 2day, so deicided to pay a visit to IBS Blore. I have seen schools for kids with better infra than IBS Blore. Here is the report
The IBS Blore is a 5 building school. with four in a row with breaks in between. The fifth one is a new buidling, which hasnt been utilised as of yet. the guard told me that it was for this batch, they will have class rooms there in the fifth building.

out of the four buildings in a row, the first one is a one floor buidling whcih is for faculty.

after this one there is another building which houses some 4-5 companies. not related to IBS.

after that there is 2 floor building. There was some renovation work going on, on asking the guard there, he said it was for the director's chamber n a conference room. this building has four big classrooms with fans (no ac in any class room except the Computer lab). this building also houses an auditorioum.

after this one there is another building which houses some one engineering company not related to IBS.

this is the third IBS buiding in the row and a 2 floor building. it houses more class rooms, SAP centre n Library on the top.

then is the fourth IBS building, which houses more class rooms, computer centre and another audtiorium (bigger one)

didnt get to c the new (fifth ) bulding as it was locked.


most of the class rooms have an OHP + fans. n they r spacious

talked to two students, they said the avg pay for finance guys is around 3.5 lacs. i did see some offers as low as 12.5k/month for IT field.

boss first tell me one thing either ure joinin blore or not.secondly by info u gave abt institute ure trin to be circastic or wht imean i am not clear so do reply and if goin 4 it then let me know coz ure too gd at observin things but couldnt make them clear properly

gud to see a thread started exlusively for ppl who hve got admissions at icfai,blore..was scandalised to see nobody responding to the msgs in the main group..anyways i hve also gottan admission at blore..my cousin passed out from blore(2003-2005) batch and ended up with a pretty decent offer at i-flex solutions(around 4.4 lacs)..well,according to him the insti will not help u getting offers frm top companies..we'll def hve to tke the initiative to slog our butt out and ensure tht we end up getting a top dollar job..the campus is not state-of-the-art but the faculty for finance(dont really knw about other electives)are gud..so if u blieve tht u hve the potential and can really make the cut above the rest,then this place is ok..

hey people ..first of all congratulations
as i know from the recent findings ..the avg around there is 3 ...the major recruiter is e-serve international ...and i m afraid to say ,,,, its a call centre ...pays around 20k pm...not worth joining a bpo after MBA spending 7 laks.

moreover IT and systems ka har jagah baaaja baja hua hai..i mean its nt getting paid well ...as TALKALOUD mentioned ...12.5 k pm ..ya its on trainig ...not more than tht..and final salaries about 20 k

hey this 4 all who re joinin icfai blore we shud make a union imean shud exchange our thoughts and maintain a compatability coz we need to be there 4 atleast 1and half yr together so cheer up guys lets rock banglore city.

well i havent decided on that. if i convert calls then i will not be joining IBS. im not sarcastic. the inital part was for humor, not to be taken seriously. thanks for ur compliments but im not able to get "make them clear properly"<--- what do u mean by this??
