Ok talking abt the Cet's Strategy..

Seniors...could u light up .. the best method for goin in..

Should we go thru the 4s method means Scan Search Select and Solve

Or just start frm beginning to the end ??

Yup even i have been unsure what to do but i have been following this so far....i never scan thru the paper...i jus start and whatever seems "quickly" solvable...i do them and the ones which might take time i jus skip them...but i do try and solve major chunk of what i go thru....in this manner i keep a target of goin thru roughly 100 qs per hour...so after 2 hours i should reach like a proper attempt of anywhere between 120-150....and then next 20 mins for the ones i skipped and which can be solved....next 5 mins for guessing...and last 5 mins for trying some and checking the circling...

the qs i surely solve are......Verbal Ability , RC, DI, Visual reasoning (one of my strengths)

In the first CET i only managed to attempt (actual) around 95 - 98....the second time around 125-130....now i wanna get up beyond 150 this time and then maximum possible in the last SIMCET

Can anyone help as to what should my strategy during my exam means go for more speed or accuracy.
what is actually needed in aperson to crack cet.
any senior member can help in this that would really gratefull.

get upto 90% speed and 90% accuracy and u r close to cracking it..

Can anyone help me with the standard of questions in the SIMcet's of IMS?
Is it tougher than the actual cet?

I went through CL 's papers, although they were a couple of years older,but they were quite easy .One could attempt 140-150 questions in those

yes IMS sim-cet paper's r tougher than actual one, like those sim- CAT of IMS

IMS SIMCETs r definately tougher than the MOCKCETs of CL. CL papers replicate the actual CET better than the IMS papers. The actual CET is not that tough.

Taking into consideration that JBIMS closed at 164(open category)...u need to score around 140+ in actual CET.....Now that attempting all the 200 question properly is difficult...u have to attempt around 160-170 questions with 80-85 percent accuracy so that u get around 135-......the remaining questions...u can try if u have time...else MATKAS ........

Well frnds all this analysis is on last years paper...if the difficulty level changes....the equations will change as well...........
