dear guys, i had my gd/pi on 5th in kolkata....here is the deatails
1. we had a case study :hr based ,2 panelist,10 ppl,5 mins to think 25 min to discuss.
2.essay :2 topics in 15 mins...diff topics for diff groups...
3.pi:2 panelists ,one of them director ,she is very sweet...6-7 min interview...why mba,why siib..cool .very relaxing
4.1 hr psychometric test

what exactly was there in psychometric that made it so long

what were the topic of written essays, how long we had to write in how much time.

tell us so that we have a better idea

neways we know topics wll b different only, but for idea

We were a group of 10 students and a coordinator who guided us about the process and schedule.The coordinator was 1st year student of same college. Very friendly.

The GD/PI experirnce was cool but time consuming. We were made to sit a lot and wait for turn in PI. We were there from 12:15(reporting time) till 6:00 in the evening.

First of all we were given a presentation about college.(30 min)

Then we were given a case study but when panelists saw that we all wre not moving in right direction they gave us a topic for general gd. The panelist one sir and one madam were quite good. They gave chance to those who wer not able to speak during gd.Then they asked to summarize in one line.(30 min)

Then we were given one hour break.

After that we were made to write two questions
1)Honesty is not the best policy? do you agree
2)Numbers never tell the true story(15 min)

Aftre that a psychometric test.Probably the most boring part of the whole process(even wait was not as boring).
It actually had 4 sections
1 had 120 odd questions(a& b) two choices.
2nd had questions where u had to give ten points to given sentences.
then there was section which had 6 choices about 50questions
lastly there was a section regarding body language
Question were repeated.
It had general questions regarding ur work and social ethics.(1 hr duration but ideally should take 45-50 mins)

Last after wait of an hour or so the pi. 3 member panel, one mam(director) and two other sirs.
It was cool (hardly took 5-6 mins).

This was my experience

Any one having scmhrd gd on 10th mine is at 2:15 pm.

hi all

after my SCMHRD debacle i was quite upset.... so i joined workshop by Career forum and it was even worse..... can u imagine workshop was for 4 hours only and 2 hrs tips and followed by 3 GD practice... thats all..

there fore i told TIME education to organise a workshop..... Its conducted my TIME director Mr Arks Shrinivas (IIM C) himself...

Date: 11th Feb.. ie Tomm.
timing: 10 am to 6:30 pm...
Venue : TIME centre Andheri...

It will include 3 Case Studies...
Personal Interview...
GD/PI Tips...
Lecture on Economics..
Extempore....
Psychometric test...

all in 500/- quite manageable..

i guess it will be ideal for all who have got calls from TAPMI, SIBM, SIIB, SITM and other colleges....
