i guess u havent been reading the previous mails..it would be really nice if u guys name ur yahoo groups BIM23 because thats going to be your identity for the rest of ur lives..no ones gonna call u batch of 2008 and all..u guy will be BIM23..So plzz think over it..rest its the call of ur batch..what u guys wannu name ur groups

Today i visiyed here asfter so many days, coz of exam time. But any how now ther are so many people to answer yor queries.

Congrates to all of u who got selected.

Agaim i will suggest u the same as by Somoiya to creat an yahoo groups with the name of BIM23, which wil also help to u all to be in contact, and its like a tradition at BIM. it will be useful to u also. similarly we have BIM22.

Then finaly a warm welcome to all those who are finally joing BIM, Trichy. I hope that it will be nice experince to all of u.

are the salaries reported in the placement report of bim last year....... r all they ctc or gross salaries?although its a little bit premature to talk abt placements before even joinin.......jus got a little bit anxious coz one of my friends got an offer of 6 lakhsper annum lastyear frm mdi......but his take home cmes around only 21-25k per month

hello bim seniors and alumuni.

we aspirnts for bim-b are still waiting for ur response on the allegations made previously abt bim trichy alumuni and students not supporting bim-b as it was passed without transperancy and meeting minutes were not disclosed....

plez help us its career decisons for us.

looking for prompt response.plz clarify wht bma has to do with bim and why nt own campus.why r alumuni against bim-b?and why call it bma if its just a infra provider.......i name my house on my name-not my landlords name right?something seems very fishy.the institute too seems to have an identity crisis as sometimes it uses bim-b name-sometimes it uses bma name.....even in the brouchres

bma and bim-b are separate entities and this kinda subtle mixing cannot mislead aspirants.plez plez give us the other side of the story.i hve my gdpi pn 12th.....

well mbadude2004, I tried my best but the ID BIM23 has already been taken..cant create another with the same name on yahoo...too bad...thats why I thought BIM class of 2008 would be more suitable...

hello everyone

i went to bim on saturday to pay the 1st installment. had a chance to meet a prof who is taking care of placements. he answered many queries. he also put us onto a student of the batch passing out who showed us around the campus and answered all our questions. also had a chance to go to the hostel and have a look around. on the whole everything is good.

a 2 wheeler will be useful as hostel is abt 1km from admin office/classes. pc/laptop will be very useful and hostel provided net connection. accomodation is decent and 4 ppl share a flat( 2 bedrooms). theres a gym, reading room and a small computer room in the hostel premises. there is also a large comp centre near the office. at the mess, i found out that north indian food is also offered on some days of the week.offices,classroom, library etc r air conditioned.

generally fees r paid every trimester. indian bank offers loans for edn. bim has sent them the list of selected students and they will be sending info by post. understand that on regn day(3rd july) other banks will also put up stalls and offer loans on campus.

awesome dude , am planning to go on 12th (tue), boy, you were fast...hey, did ya meet the director? I heard from a friend that he is very accesible...is that true?
one important question...State bank of India is on strike, so how did you get the dd...how did ya make it payable a particular SBI branch?

The Dir was on leave and so could not meet him. Yes i got to understand from everyone I met that he is a fine gentleman and is accesible. The seniors despite having exams were very helpful in answering q's. I think they will go away on 12th.

I go a DD from IOB payable at Trichy branch. Explained to them and the accepted it. Now that SBI has called of the strike u could take the DD 4m there.

cool...thanks archie...I know the seniors will be going on vacation on 12th but will BIM accept fees on 12th...I have already booked moi tickets...seniors can ya confirm if the admin ofice will be open to take the fee on 12th...
