Ok I give up. What do I care. I saw it and I still have a tough time believing it. But it is officially posted. Anyway I have to check up to find what the catch is!

Good luck with apps. but check to see if it is not a gimmick by BIM. Where they put stuff which can't be referred to in the future.

i dont've any other proof apart frm their website. fyi, my xat percentile is too low and i'm not applying for BIM, GIM or LIBA !

as far as i can remember, the y-grp discussion was more or less placement centric, and many of their frustrations was w.r.t placement cell. they did blame the prof in charge of placements for procrastination. my impression may probably b influenced by this. its quite possible that they like all the prof's but the placement-in-charge. again, they liked him as a teacher, but NEVER as a placement coordinator.

in whichever case, i'm happy to know that data is outdated. ty fabulist for ur latest updates. pls post the detailed placement info asap. y cant u gys put'm on ur website ??

i am not saying that ur info is wrong. u might just be right but our batch and our senior / super senior batch did not have any problems with placements. although there was a problem a few years back( the inst is quite young and its obvious that it has teething troubles at the beginning)

regarding faculty i did not make a hasty statement. i had gathered info abt all good b skools while i was preparing for XAT. i talked to many ppl from industry/ coaching centres etc and came to a conclusion. in fact in terms of faculty we would be rated in the league next to top 10(this again is not a rash statement)

regarding placementinfo, the process is over. however we are revamping our website and once that happens, we would put up details like avg salary/ median salary / companies etc. our inst. never beleieved in promoting itself and doesnt advertise placements etc which explaind the lack of awareness among students abt our inst.

BIM NEED NOT PROVE ITSELF TO ANYONE.
That BIM doesnt have good placements is absolutely laughable.
50% reservation for Tams .....Ha u r a genius dude....boy! u must b very creative......and abt BIM students' stuff...IMT Ghaziabad overall champs, IIMK overall champs last year.....ET Quiz consecutive winners.....India's best summer project (NITIE)....ONly team other than IIMA to represent India in Seattle in GLobal socila entre. competition......so on....just ask the corporate.

If u r serious abt MBA do sum homework and try to find out the
FACTS FOR URSELF...im not gonna waste my time trying to convince a couple of ppl who expose their pathetic ignorance.....

well dude u have a real creative bent of mind..Do u actually realise what crap ur talking..Do u also realise BIM does not need a certificate from u!like i said earlier those who know BIM know it.period.we dont need u to comment on the quality of students studying here or for that matter nethingh over here..Well the PR COM of BIM started this thread to help out people incase they needed any clarification about the admission process..well i guess being helpfull doesnt help..u always have someone coming along thinking he is Mr "KNOW ALL" passing judgments..well Mr tincup my guess is ur one hell of a dopey urself who has nothingh better to do in life than pass judgments on institutions and i guess ur also hallucinating while being completely doped about sum imaginary cousin is of urs..well man u need a break..go chill and dont go around propagating conspiracy theories..well u dont believe that we have avg sal of 4.5 lacs..well we cant show 4.5 lacs in cash for ur highness to believe us..well then i guess we can just tell u to take a hike or leave u to ur own sorry state..having serious doubts wether ur some past unsucessful bim aspirant..and for Mr tac"watever" i understand ur present state of mind.. when u see ur frnds studying in a real good insti..u tend to feel a little jealous and start thinking they r inferior to u..Try harder next time....rest of ur comment i think is not worth commenting..well ppl commenting on the facilities here i guess ur under estimating Bim...where else in the country do they give u actual apartments to reside..yes we stay in apartments.we have a good library..good classrooms..a big play ground with facilities to play most of the sports,gym..a huge mess, a great computer lab and internet connection for each and every individual in his room..u have access to all the facilities offered by Bhel(tennis,swimming)...well i guess mr tincup u prefer staying on ur own where u can keep doping undisturbed..and the surrounding is just great..we r situated inside BHEL which is scenic and beautifull in watever angle u see it..I feel its the perfect place to do ur MBA...Another thingh i dont understand is some ppl r bothered abt lack of nightlife and other activities..Though its important to have a good time(we have plenty of that)..i guess none of us r spending 4 lacs to freak out every day....well i guess tat says it all..and then like i said the final call is urs to take..ppl who just wannu crap all the time to get attention will do so..

This is Karthik from Chennai. Ashwin, you are doing a great job of provding info on BIM, but pl cool down. There is no point in countering arguments. The real situation is all business schools in the top 20, top 30 are good in their own way. These schools achieved the distinction by their infrastructure, pedagogy, intellectual capital and industry interface. According to me there is very little to distinguish from each other of the top institutes. If at all there is any slight distinction it is due to locational advantage / disadvnatage! Remember mates, it makes the two - the institution and the student to succeed one's life. Rather than squabbling among ourselves, let us please understand and appreciate that the faculty and the students in every top b-school try their best to bring glory to themselves and to their institution. Let us coolly try to convert all the calls we receive, then choose the best according to our judgement. More important is, whatever the institute we choose, let us try to extract the best from the institute and prove ourselves!

Come on mates... it is meaningless to argue! Wishing you all the very best. Mark my words, every one of us PGites are going to occupy exalted position in busienss and industry. Then why fight among ourselves?
