Sorry for digressing but its nice to see that people are willing to overcome their cynicism towards private universities. I was pretty defensive myself when it came to the admission of a cousin into its BTech degree (a huge responsibility I was assigned by an uncle) A short visit to the campus later and I realised I was being conservative. The sheer volume of development at its campus will be enough to dispel all doubts about it being some shady fly-by-night operator. It does not yet attract bright students but the intention to excel as a vendor of quality education is there, and its quite earnest and almost desperate. I think its quite possible it will be another Manipal and Symbiosis in the future

i got a calll thru my mat score(dec)
i'll give a brief info bout my gd/pi.. in amity.. 1stly we got to write an essay on - 'Management studies are essential for the sucess in life'
we had to write about 250 words n had half n hr time..
i dun rem. actually wht i had written .. i think it was all crap wid sm specific qualities wid leadership and polishes personality stuff.. it was basically to chk ur eng language as the sheet said..
den we had a gd.. in which 10 ppl r der in ur batch.. n we got a case study.. which was employees moving towards monetary incentives or non-monetary incentives!
it was fun. gd was for 7- 8 mins only so one suggestion for u guys.. dont miss any opportunities to speak! cause in so less time u wont get opportunities knocking again n again! so do make a damdaar entry..
den the panelist asked each one of us to summaries the case..
in pi.. basically dey asked me bout my education bakground,... anyways u need to be prepared for that.. dey asked me bout my dad's business n v r into imports /exports n i have opted for MBA (ib) so dey tried grilling me on that .. but i answred all the questions.. but it was all basic.. like if u wnt to introduce a product in the market internationally how wuld u advertise for the same...
dey asked me alot bout animation field..
basically it was overall 70% of my graduation n diploma course i did..
20% bout my family business
10% bout me!
no gk questions like whts the product which is xported most from india,whts the income of india from xports.. whts the busiest port in india.. (which dey had asked other people in der pi)..
it was overall a very gud gd/pi.. letc wait n wtch wht does the results have for me!

hey all....i hv been selected to amity -ib course(applied only for it as i was not eligible for general pgm) now my query is that we hv to deposit the fees till 7th march and since i hv 3 oder calls frm DU i do not wish to put arnd 1.5 lac at stake for the time being,can ne body tell me that if i wish to take admission later like i deposit the fee somewhere in april as arnd that time rest of the results wud hv come,so will they accept it or not,and can i apply thru may mat....
