Hey..I've got a call from amity too..have still not selected the date though..Just wanted to know wether you ppl have any idea what these people at amity are giong to ask in their written test..i had a chat with the counsellors online and they told me it was going to be a small aptitude test followed by a gd and the interview..

is it right that amity doesnt have 100% placements ???..they say they do..but i have read in other forums that their placements are bad.. that makes me apprehensive about joining amity..

I have a 97 Percentile in MAT, 81% in 10th, 83% in 12th, 70% throughout my university B.com...lotsa co-curricular activities as well..

also would be great if somebody who's from amity joins this forum to clear any dounbts we have about the college..

definately, if someone frm amity joins this forum and pours his/her experiences for us, it would be gr8 for us!
as far as placement is concerned,this year it has been 100% in PGDM and MBA, a guy studying in amity told me.he himself got placed with tvs in the range of 4.8 lacs.
well they hve incresed the span of gd/pi:-
the dates r 4,5,9,10 and 16th of feb.

Even I have a call from Amity...selected 4th as the GD/PI date...wat kinda test is the written test???
MAT %ile-98.76
Can someone pls tell us abt their previous GD/PI experiences @ Amity???

Hi people,
I had ICFAI on 5th and had to choose between 4th and 5th for Amity. Undertstanding that I had to forego one between ICFAI and Amity, I chose 5th as the date for Amity foregoing ICFAI. But now what I see that that range of dates have been extended till 16th. Because I had already selected the date as 5th when there were only two provisions, I can't choose another date. I have been made a fool because I responded early and this school calls itself the best B school in the private domain. Below is the transcript of the chat I had with their "Online Counsellor"

Counsellor1: how can i help u?
inder: i have already selected a date for interview when u had only 4th a 5th.. but now u have increased the range of those dates and i want to change it. plz help
inder: 4th a 5th were both inconvenient but i had to choose one but now with your range broadening i need to be given a chance .. otherwise i think i shall be a fool to respond early.. i should have waited
Counsellor1: once selected they cannot be changed
inder: why didnt u diplay all possible dates early.. in this case the one's to respond early have been losers and thats very unfair
inder: u have no answer to that?

Counsellor1: i dont know why they were not displayed

Now when the counsellor says that I can send the complaint anywhere it only means that my complaint would be trated in just the same way as the cousellor had treated it. I wonder is this is going to be a memorable experience with amity for me.
For the record I have done engineering in computer science and have a MAT percentile of 98.3

hey dude
thats sad.i mean the treatment u got from the counsellor.it shows gross mismanagement on their part.it also cast doubt on the veracity of amity as an institute.
i havent selected my date yet.and going by ur exp i think ill take my time.
i hav a mat percentile of 99.8

ofcourse i ve filled it ...my prob was tht its still showin it as the task to b done..nywaz the counceller asked me to leave tht...m thkin of selectin my int date as 10th..ny1 on the same date

thats sad.but cant help. something happened with me too.mentioned in the form that i am including my mat scorecard,but somehow,i dont knw how,they didnt received it.but the people there r very supportive.talked to them today.they said send it immediately.
i think inder u shud go 4 ICFAI as u r hyderabad based too.
hey soni....i am plannig to select either 5th or 9th or 10th as my gd/pi date.will select soon.
