No I Think admission to D.M.S Nit Trichy is only through the ATMA exam... ATMA exam is on 6'th of FEB. U can check the following link http://www.nitt.edu/departments/mba/

This year admission is done through through the ATMA scores. Regarding GD/PI, I am not very sure .You must be aware of the Chennai High court judgment in the BIM case. So , we have to wait for some more time to know the clear picture.Once it is confirmed, I will inform through this forum immediately.

I have applied for ATMA and thinking of Applying for DMS Trichy...
One of my friend studied in NIT Trichy... He told me that placements r decent in DMS Trichy.... but most of the recruiting companies belong to the software field. Is that true? What kind of other companies come there??

NITT accepts only ATMA due to MHRD reasons
placements r really great here
partial split of placements by specialisation
marketing - 18,HR - 5,operations - 6,Finance - 10 and systems - 21 totalling to 60.
100% placements over
partial list of companies that came for placements - TCS,Satyam,HCL, Metlife, E serve, GECIS,Maruti,i- flex, Ramco systems, Mind tree.
fee is very less compared to any institute here
just a lakh of rupee which includes ur mess bill hostel charges gym swimming pool, library and so on
NITT DOES NOT ADVERTISE AS OTHERS BEING A CENTRAL GOVT INSTITUTE
it has got talented and well experienced prof. most of them are Ph.ds
prof from IIM and IIT and various industries are guest faculty here
thats all about it

i had 97.0%ile in ATMA last yr. i got a call frm NIT Trichy without any gd or interview being held. but this is exactly wht made me kinda suspect, and i didn't join NIT trichy.

Hey this thread seems to be dead.

Can any one tell me the last date of submission of forms...??? In the Newspaper Ad the last date has been given as Feb 14'th.

Has it been extended???
