JMET 2004 - experience, Analysis, Call Predictions & more

Hey all jmet takers. Well tommorrow is the J-day if u wanna call it. ATB and do teh exam well. I didn find many takers in pg so far. So i think response mite be lukewarm compared to CAT. So anyhow share ur wishes, test experiences, analysis, cutoff preictions and more. By the way have a doubt, will we be allowed to take the paper with us like in CAT???

till last year they didnt allow the students to take the q.paper...also there is no mention of this on the site as well.....so most probably they wont allow us to take the paper

So tat means Cat is more transparent. well that also mean gotta wait 27 odd days fr the jmet result which is explicitly mentioned in the website as jan 7th. So i like this format where u login the website and wait fr the result and not where u already know everything and juz formalities have to be completed. So wud be an anxious wait then. I suppose the last day before jmet there will be more ppl than this. Anyhow certain things abt jmet if u guys donno yet is:
1)that jmet is gonna be 4 sectioner tats mostly sure.
2)No of qs cud be 150 as it was last year.
3)There will be no gk again sure.
4)There will be sections on verbal ability, logical reasonin, di, quants
5)Quants willbe the one with lil higher maths, as such atmost it will be 50% but i heard it the toughest section so be prepared.
6)No sectional cutoffs.
7) A score of 70+ is wat u shd aim at if u aiming to be among top rankers. Its definitely easier to achieve it than CAT.

Well guyz gimme a break, have some amount of seriousness. And also saw that snap test has received so much more response than a jmet. Does tat mean more ppl in pg are writing snap. Anyhow felt jmet was one of the five premier test and it shd have more response than this. Isnt there anyone who is writing jmet?? Well i shd also understand being last day ppl mite be busy in their homes thinking abt the exam tomm.

arrey jmet is only for engineers and also generally iitians dont write jmet

so the response is lukewarm
but that can be positive for poor souls like us

Was pretty much on expected lines. Except i think LR wasnt as easy as i hoped it to be. Anyhow i had abt 100 attempts with a fair distribution and i believe my only disappointment was not able to cah in totally in DI. This made me a lil sad otherwise almost a max possible performance frm me. I am expecting a minimum 55+ and possibly a 60. How was it fr others??? Atleast hope by evening more posts will be on.
