Hi Subhash,
Looks like you are in pretty much the same state as I and many of my friends are. But I suggest that, stick to the top 10 ranks coz with your work-ex of 3 yrs, no point going for low ranked cllgs. And at the end of the day, money matters. After leaving a job which pays u 3.6 lkhs for 2 yrs (obvi ur sal will increase in that period) and investing money in a cllg as fees, u will def. expect returns asap, and thats assured with the top ranked cllgs.....not that its not with the above 15-20th ranked ones, just that, the journey of making that amnt of money MAY be longer....
But do take opinions from ppl who are already pursuing their MBA with previous work ex. maybe they can give a better insight...TC.
Regards,
Amod. | | | | | | | |

Hi
I would say stick to ur job unless u can make it to the top 10...
even top 10 instis wont guarantee you a good ROI unless u fair decently in there...
its a jungle out here and every moment u struggle for existence.....
sometimes u actually wonder when ths gets over.....
believe me its tough....
i left a very cushy job that had lures of longterm onsites and lotsa money.....
so i understand ur dilemma...
one thng is for sure..if u r looking for short term returns then better stick to ur job....MBA generally pays in the long run....
thnk over ur priorities and wt u want to achieve..
