me too thinks it is 300.
1-100 there are 20 3s and 20 each from 101-200 and 201-299.that makes it 60 from 1-299 with the 61st one being the one in 300. | | | | | | | |

101 - 199 : 20 3s
201 - 299 : 20 3s
300 - 61st 3.
The general formula seems to be that for a digit n, n00 would be the ((20 * n) + 1) th digit.
Do verify it !!
