Hey for IIFT u just need to remember a few good names like UN body heads ( only IMP ones) and all rest can be covered thru gen knowledge books

for XAT refer to CSR but dont blame me if this year they get GK from any other magazine???????????

better way to prepare now is go thru imp bz headlines of past 3 months and for next 1/2 months keep on going thru mags like mgmt compass ,advancedge, career economy etc etc etc practice a few GK sections n u will make it

One good way of preparing for GK is to browse through Tata Mc Graw Hill's ....General Studies Digest for Civil Services Prelims. It's a bulky book ..but worth the read. Scheme it through...will help in History, Geography, Constitution , UN & Current affairs. For Business GK ....you can browse through the business quiz yahoogroups...quinkie etc.

STATUTORY WARNING: All of them are TIME CONSUMING activities.

i'm a PT student n v got "Golden Nuggets"
booklet with 1000 GK ques but i dun think it wud
suffice.

package offered by TCY online - the institute
specific GK papers.......................

as far as i remember a fw ppl ( dun remember
whether they were from TIME or TCY) posted
GK papers last yr.

guys ...i dont think u need to go overboard while preparing for GK things...
just go thru the newspapers and some gk questions as given by the IMS and Time people....
it will all boil down to some really good intelligent guessings that day..believe me...
at least that is how i cracked XAT or for tht matter my friend in XLRI did that too...
