do not give personal preferences!!! - 04-12-2004, 05:57 PM

Hi Gauri,

Well giving personal opinion without basis or rationale is considered as highly confusing for all.

Anybody can rank anything n then tell that this is what I think....

So, before coming to any conclusion plz specify on what parameters the ranking u r doing???

Ranking bschools have been the biggest issue in pagalguy.com

I can also give my order of preference of institutes which does not make any sense if it is not justfied with a rationale...

I hope u got the message!!!!

Xavyen

No rankings please..... - 04-12-2004, 11:58 PM

Well,
i remember last year i was in the line of action....with me and a cool dude from SIBM fighting out which is better.....
I wud say.....follow the philosophy we follow at Pagalguy.....no rankings.....
if u get into ranking phase.....then u might not be able to make a proper decision......u need to judge for urself the criterions important for u....and then decide the PERSONAL ordering of the B Schools (not for public).......

So we here do not say this is better than this or that.....
when u get into competing b schools....then interact with the alumni here and
try to judge for urself...which one better suits you.....

thats all for now......if ne info reqd.....do drop a message here.....
before popping ne questions here.....one suggestion......go thru search mechanism and give on glanc to existing threads for XIMB/SIBM/GIM/BIM/LIBA.
most of ur doubts will be cleared there itself....
cya,
Gary

My Choice is GIM, bcos a student from Bharathidasan University i really hate its bureacratic red tapism, even i could not get the caution deposit paid to them and BIM not exceptional.Morever there is not industrial tie up with BIM Except GTB and TCS. Even the placement there is 99.17%

Rankings... - 05-12-2004, 09:48 PM

Hi all

I am sorry if u have taken my personal preferances a bit serious. I have given my preferances according to how students are placed after completing MBA from these B-Schools...after 4-5 years.

I have some senior friends passing out from here.
