Well, as Evanescence says that GRE prep is helping in VA, i wud have to agree with it.....I myself prepared for GRE and tht was the only VA prep RC prep I did, its much better and detailed than any coachin insti can give....which meant in CL durin VA classes i wasnt listenin.....and had done their exercises befroe hand....
If one hasnt started barron's list till now.....considering 40 days to CAT ull have to go real hard on it now.....with 50 words a day.....
Its not necessary to do barron's list but then its quite comprehensive......
The method i had followed was making flash cards on my own.....and now time for that is not there........
Still what time is there it can be salvaged.....
Get word list of any of ur frnds in CL/IMS/Time and get it xeroxed and do it......
In all exams i normally followed elimination method, it works......but for that atleast thhora to prepare karna chahiye.......
ciao,

hey thanks gaurav..
i have been learning words as in making lists of my own.... and also from CL vocab book....have completed that...but i wanted to do it comprehensively from barrons coz XAT has been giving analogies directly from barrons...
want to maximise my score in VA since m not too good in GK...so i guess when i do barrons it will also be a revision of whatever i have dne earlier...
is it still too difficult to do barrons in 1 month 20 days that i have after cat(XAT is on 9th jan)...i never prepared from GRE or GMat... "Time flies, death urges, knells call, Heaven invites,

Hello there,
First of all , thanx-a-zillion 4 helping all XAT aspirants all the way...
I downloaded the paper from the link given by you.
I've heard from other ppl also that getting hold of previous
year's XAT papers would surely help. Can anyone upload
previous 3-4 years' XAT papers in the same format as
CL mocks in Exam Resources ?
Btw, I'm applying for XIMB, SIBM and GIM.
Regards,
Aparna | | | | | | | |

u can find the link in the 2nd page given by me.....
About the previous papers u can always get it from the coaching institutes after the CAT.
Still if any body has it in the online format then please upload for ur fellowmates to take its benefit.
ALL THE BEST for the coming exams!!!!
