Can u guess no. of GD/PI calls this year? As no. applications are increasing each year I think it should be much more than 500.

Hey Prasun,
actually a gud question........had not been comin to PG for a week.....well....dont worry...will try to answer ur query sometime today durng the afternoon.....

One thing i wud mention to say is that......XIMB is among the best in India........
Doing comparison with MDI, IIFT, SPJIMR, IMT, SCMHRD and SIBM......is useless.....
There is very little difference between all these instis and all these will lie somewhere around at par...with each having something special about it.......

For MDI i must admit.....their Director is doing a great job...he is the best B School director to head any place......and MDI is bound to go places right now.......with him around.......

About IMT......every one knows.....Industry and Commerce Minister.....but I think right now concentration more is on developing Nagpur Campus.....ich they want to debvelop as their major campus.....

for each institute try to find out wats so special about it.......and den try to match ur profile with it and den create ur personal rank list and do not refer to these ranks wich come in mags........all that is useless.....big time money making business from all angles.......

One big question about XIMB comes at its locational disadvantage.......well i wud like to reinforce the point that yes we earlier had connectivity problems.....but now since past two years excellent connectivity through planes has been developed with other main cities of India.....so this limitation has been overcome and it sure does reflect.....

About placement info on ximb go thru the article wich was put up on placements at XIMB on PG itself.......u can put full faith into it......

boo hoo!!! recvd my ximb call letter yesterday, and my interview is on 21st of march!!! by then both sibm and tapmi results will be out and i will have to pay the fees!! and i have done pretty well in both the int's. so i guess its bye bye for my ximb hopes. newayz can highwaystar tell me when the results will be out. and y did they have to hold their int's so late?????

Hi all

Recd the letter yesdy. 21 March, SJCBA, Blore 11:00 am.

By the time for XIMB GD PI, SIBM (over) and TAPMI(on 25th) will be out. But who knows what is meant for me.....

Hope to do my best in all the GDPIs...

To be frank i actually have no clue y they have held interviews tooooooooo late.........but i also agree its late........
I have no clue what the management is trying......
