as far as I know, there are no sectional cut offs. also, there are two exams I appeared in. One was general CAT types and the other one was based on case studies and was a kind of psychometric test. I donno if they are again taking the exams this way this year too. both the exams are scheduled on one day itself. and you need to clear both these exams to get thru...

sorry for my ignorance. can someone tell me abt the placement stuff in numbers.and i get the impression that nift is offering hostel only for girls and may be course also. i never thought of getting in this line ever till now. but being an artist helps itseems!what say.
half of nift website is under constuction. but i am sure many will be like me who wants to know more abt nift.

About the guys hostel, i know of blore it does offer u hostel facility but outside campus, the girls in the campus. for the guys they hire a bunglow with 4 or 5 rooms and put 8-10 guys of a class in that bunglow.( we had all r class parties in the guys hostel around 4 parties every 15 days or so).
delhi has a pathetic girls hostel, hyd is ok. and rest i dunno.

i m currently pursuing pgfm in nift delhi and must say it is a very different course and u will enjoy it if u like fashion.
as for hostel, delhi has both for guys and girls but not in campus. and i havent heard great stuff about it (only heard ;because i m a delhite).

major focus on merchandising: so there u go about placements,

and u were right neha: its great to have TP here......

1- what are the placements in nift
2- salaries - atleast average salaries.
3- I have done my hsc in commerce and then Bachelors in management.. but liked the idea of the course.. is the background cool?
