Doubt in XAT and XLRI form!! Urgent!!

Hello folks

It's mentioned in the XAT bulletin that one needs to fill in the online form and send it in the envelope given within a week after the form is bought from SBI branch .. I didn't read that clause and it's 12 days since I have bought the form ... and i havenot filled the form!!

Whether this is a big issue .. i will anyway call up the people out there and ask them ..

Expecting quick responses ..

So don't panic - jsu tbe sure to send in the 3rd pay slip

Called up the XAT office today to get the doubt cleared .. The guy out there seemed to be pretty cool .. he told me there's no problem but asked me to send the form today itself .. which i did ..

i have a bituv a doubt as well.
the advert and the site havent mentioned newhere whether both xat and xlri forms BOTH have to be bought even if i want to apply only for xlri. dunno, seems a bit confusing, ne help?

The XAT exam is conducted by XLRI. If you want to apply to XLRI you have to give the exam as well as fill in the form for XLRI, which has a separate application form.

XAT is similar to CAT but only when you fill in the CAT form, you dont have to fill in a separate form for the IIMs. For XAT this is required.

But if you DONT want to apply for XLRI, but institutes like XIMB, which accepts XAT scores, you have to purchase the XAT form & the XIMB form, & not the XLRI form.

yes you have to buy both the forms.

XAT to appear for the written test

XLRI to specifically apply to xlri jampot ...

ofcourse u can take the test.,...but then wats the use????

u need to apply to the colleges affliated to it in order to qualify for the admission

you can but its as good as appearing for CAT and not applying to any institutes.

if i'm getting it right misha, you would want to do that just to get the feel before finally attempting it next year, right? your decision.
