It all depends on if ur willin to try for an MBA after a while. Perhaps something better than Symb. Might be that u'll strike gold later

Another thing I dont really rate Infy that much or for that matter any IT comp presently. IT is happening now and there'll definitely be more jobs and offers down the line.

My suggestion would be to attend interviews and gd and see how u fare. Alos have a look at your prospects at infy. Do u want ot spent ur days coding?

My choice would be an MBA. Would definitely pay in the long run. And regarding SITM, the cousre is very specific. If u like telecom and comp then its very good. The systems course even has a CCNA degree built in (though not much use on its own )

Not too sure abt SIIB, if u like the stuff...

Most importantly think for yourself. Dont listen to us

well i disagree with u my frnd
although it very much depends on u whether u r intersted in that blue colored c coding screen
still u shud consult ur mentors n seniors for this
i had a similar option last year ,had a job in wipro ,but the joining was quite late, so started preparin 4 cat , my centre head told me 2 only go 4 the top 15 b schools, in case u dont make it, atleast u hav a job in hand, alsour perspective towards things takes a complete u turn after u r in a job. u luk at things in altogeter different manner
also i doubt whether infosys n wipro r regular recruiters in sitm
all i wud say isdont b hasty in takin decision ,think well before u take any step
regards

hi guys - 17-01-2005, 01:38 PM

hey guys,
u guys talking worthy abt siib and sitm so i am feeling guilty of not applying to them.i applied only to scmhrd.i am a engineering grad with a score of 55.25 in snap.i am placed in cognizant technology solutions and the compensation i am going to get is 2.2 lakhs per annum so i thought i will give cat a try next year and get into a better bschool.coz my friends here didnt approve of me to apply to siib and sitm.but u ppl say those bschools r good, and now i have started thinking it wud have been better if i joined them now instead of having the headache of preparing for cat 2005.r the applications open now.wat do u think guys is my decision to repeat rite or wrong.

bhai log
Siib rslts were absolute shoker, hope the same thing doesnt repeats in sitm as well
with a score of jst 54 sitm seems 2 b a dream
never heard of siib much till now, but the rslts tend 2 give u a different kind of impression
also one thing wud there b different cutoffs 4 marketing/finance & system/finance
all hopes of getting into b school hinges on sitm rslt
anyway less than 24 hrs 2 go 4 it
all the best 2 everyone
