what do u think about the pattern of snap? also, do post in messages if you have any idea about how good the other symbi b-schools barring scmhrd are. i mean simc, siib and the rest.

Three year Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. Final year students can also apply.

3.00 - 6.00 p.m.

Please note that admission to the above mentioned institutes will be ONLY through the SNAP & they will not be conducting their independent admission tests as before. Also, admission to SIBM will be through XAT.

The objective of RemindMe is to keep you informed. However the decision of applying to a particular program / B-school depends on various factors like your background, aspirations, career interests,etc. This can be discussed with your Centre Manager during a personalized counseling session. There are many unanswered questions.

a] I want to know how to approach such a test. They say that different institutes will look at different sectional cutoff's. Now if they were to include a computer litracy test as a section-and I'm interested in SITM-then I should look that section first?

b] Now, because its a common test for so many different institutes there cannot be special sections-like a computer/internet/software/hardware litracy sections-which genrally play an important an part in the SCIT and SITM tests. So is it going to be old fashioned VA/QA/DI?

c] Why is SIBM taking XAT scores and is not a part SNAP?

I am not able to guess how to proceed with their payment system first register then icici then reliance then something else please help me regarding the same

hi wiz,

SIBM is NOT an autonomous institute.
hence it is XAT allied this year.
last time around it was ATMA allied I guess.
even i'm not clear regarding the test structure, but
i think it will be on the lines of SCMHRD entrance test

there are basically 2 ways.
1st method:-
u register online & select the payment mode & then take a printout of the pay in slip. take that pay in slip to an icici bank & pay the fees(rs.500). they will authenticate ur slip. then u have 3 options:-
1)Go to a Reliance WebWorld with the authenticated pay-in-slip and collect the Bulletin and get your photograph and signature captured.
or
2)Go to SNAP office Pune with the authenticated pay-in-slip and collect the snap bulletin.
or
3)Send the authenticated pay-in-slip to SNAP office Chennai duly signed and photograph pasted on it. The SNAP Bulletin will send to you by post
OR
2nd method:-
first make a dd of rs.500 in favour of "SNAP", payable at Chennai. then register online, choosing the mode of payment as dd sent to snap & fill up the details of the dd.after that take out the printout of payment advice form,paste ur photograph on it & send it to SNAP, C/O Blueshift, 21, Abdul Razack Street, Saidapet, Chennai- 600015.

i hope u don't have any more doubts.
