Gosh! it's been already a month since I joined DMS at IITD. Time really flies. doesn't it? And i must say, it's been 1 wonderful month. The experience here in this 1 month has been quite beyond my expectations. And no.... I am not exaggerating!
Right from day 1, it's been a hectic schedule. The transformation from
engg subjects to MBA hasnt been easy- what with economics, finance etc. But the lecturers here have been great ( and no, i am not exaggerating again)

.Be it Mr.Banwet's quant techniques or for that matter, the way mr. Harish chaudhary teaches marketing. And hey, we have a unique course of creative problem solving in the 1st sem, taught by mr. Momaya, whos a walking Japanese university. And oops, How can i forget Mr. P.K.Jain, known as the God of finance in the MBA circles, who has enlightened us engrs with enuf finance stuff to last us a lifetime.(Dont worry, none of our lecturers access this forum, so there is no way Im going 2 get extra marks 4 this)
And hey, before u think I am doing a
PR exercise for DMS, ill get to the not so good points as well- 1- the hostel food- atleast my hostel- the lesser said the better. And pfft, the lift doesnt function till 8.30 in the morning.Worst of all, we dont get to keep vehicles on the campus, grrrrr! only cycles.
Well 2 round it off, I had been a little skeptical while leaving IIFT and XIM ( would u believe that, but no controversies here, it was my personal decision) for IITD., but now no regrets. I have fallen in luv with this place and have scrapped all plans of taking CAT again.( nah, im not comparing with IIMS , they r way 2 good) , but after having a look at the placements of our super seniors and the quality of faculty here, there is no way im going anywhere and thus waste 1 year.
Phew! 2 tired now after having attended 2 seminars 2day but i mustve already eaten half ur brains so sorry 4 the long post and comments r welcome.
Cheerio then
