Hi Prashant,
I dont have much idea about PSU coming for placements...last year some of my seniors did their summers from BHEL, SAIL & RBI but i need 2 confirm whether they got it from outside or from college itself...i'll provide u exact details after clarifying from placement cell...now placements have already started so i'll give u the details on present scenario in few days....

we r having around 40% of our batch from engg. background...there is a judicious mix of students from various fields like engg.,science,comerce,mgnt., biotech etc.....ur background do not play any role at any stage of selection process...its only ur performance that will be counted...so work hard and try to be in the top 30...feel free to ask any query....Best of luck

Hi mohit,
No, there is no sectional cut off in particular....bt the competition is very high keeping in mind the limited seats...so even if u do not perform well in single section..it will hamper ur chances of selection...paper will not be very difficult...so if u r well prepared for other entrance exams then u will not face any problem in any of the sections....but prepare well for GK...its vast and uncertain....remember 75% weightage to written exam..so perform well in it...All the best..

well this is cutoff,.i want to know what was the marks(approx) of gen student in written exam who finally got a seat?

Hi Mohit,
As i remember a student with 120th rank in written test managed a final call but students after this rank did not fetched the final call even after good gd/pi performance........and this person finally secured 59th rank ...so the cut off must be around 365 or so....

Hi buddy,Yes..u r right..DU and SRCC'S brand value is uncomparable...

1. Exam forms will b availaible from 1 Dec (TENTATIVE)...i m presuming on last years basis...
2. Look the website is not updated since ages...the batch profile that u have seen is of 2007-09 batch....In the present batch arnd 45% students r havin work ex...with 40% from engg. and comp science background...ur age is little more...but no issues we r having 8-9 students of 25 and more...may be more will join next year of ur age group...so just prepare hard and appear for exam...u can make better decisions after clearing gd/pi round...

as there is a cut of around 350+ for general then if any one nt gud in gk then he can give more stress on other section ,as there is no sectional cut off....
