grad marks does matter!!! However, you have to cover it up by working hard in competitive exams and in interviews. (well, there is no other option, but to try!!) In order to get into a good B-School, leave behind the fear of failure and start finding out ways to get thru.

When it comes to placements, its the knowledge in your domain that matters most and companies' might look at your MBA grades (forget about grad marks).

i am interesred in MBA(AB) at SIIB.
In the eligibility criterion they are asking for undergraduates from
agriculture background,on the contrary students from biotech,zoology and even b.com background are studyin there.i have completed my B.Sc in Genetics,am i eligible to apply.

i am having problems wid my registration. i have registered at snap. bt ven i m trying to register for siib, is is showing that "we have not yet recieved yout snap details" as last date is approaching how am i to get the payment advice printed. can anyone help

sorry for another post, but i just checked the last date for dd payment as 12 jan on the insti website. does that mean we can register after we have took the snap test

You can confirm your payment details with college authorities at phone numbers given on the website.

Registration for SIIB can be done after SNAP test however before the result.

Dude
There are a some vet doctors in Agri Business Prog in first year and approx half a dozen in senior batch. Placement this year is seeming way better than last year's. Summer process has already started for juniors and final placements for seniors.

I would suggest you to have a look at the course content given on the website for ABM. I will soon pm you an email ID of a vet doc who is an ABM student at SIIB. Clarify all your doubts with him.

the eligibilty criteria for SIIB is mentioned as follows

Eligibility:

• Candidate must hold a Bachelors Degree of any statutory University with at least 50% (for SC / ST Categories: 45%) marks.
• Students who are in the final year of their bachelors degree education may also apply. Admission of such candidate will be provisional and will be cancelled in the non fulfillment of the stated criteria. Students are not eligible till all the backlogs are cleared.
• Graduate passing degree examination by part-time / correspondence programmes are not eligible.

m in my b.sc final yr and have a backlog in my 2nd yr exams...
m i eligible to apply for SIIB? plz clarify the backlog statement mentioned in the eligibility conditions above....
