dude the eligibility criteria of vgsom states dt "a first clss degree..." now generally all over it means above 60%.. by that logic you qualifies, but as u yourself said that ur university considers this as 2nd clss if that is the matter n it is stated on ur marksheet that might cause some problem... Wt i suggest is wait for some time and we wuld try to clarify the issue after talking to the authorities...
