q2) plz go through instruction manual provided in tiss website(links provided on first page by drabir)

finding whether you need to apply to tiss is a big decision..because tiss provides only hrm..so midway if u feel that hrm is not for you, you really dont have any option...plus there are lots and lots of interesting coures like sw, disaster studies, health administration , globalization and so on..My suggestion would be to understand what hrm is all about and most importantly find out whether it suits you and go through the tiss manual and know about the other courses. you can spend a day on this to get a good perspective..

to answer you first query...you can get these in any magazine stall..just ask for yojana/kurukshetra...i'm sure you'll get it
well you can very well go ahead and apply for 2 courses...right now dont think much about what the panel will ask...just concentrate on your preps and try to get through the written test

Guys i know its difficult to prepare for GK , but after looking into the previous yr papers one could make out that there are specific areas that one should definitely prepare like
current affairs,
labour laws ,
some important articles of IPC ,
basics of Communalism , marxism etc. ,
latest who's who ,
organizations such as G20 , SAARC etc. ,
NGO's in India .

With the help of seniors , I think we can definitely bookmark some more topics and then it will definitely sort the preparation for GK .
