Last date for SNAP registration is 24th November* and the *SNAP test will be held on 20th December ’09* at different locations across India. it says select colleges(SIBM..nd others) b4 finalizing amount. But no option is cming to select the colleges.
Jst finalize the amount link(1500). anyone who has filled the form using credit card option help..

10th-73.6% (CBSE)
12th-73.6% (CBSE)(yes it's same..)
BE-64.5%(CSE)(From VTU/Bangalore)

Workex 2+ year (1 year as Tester and 1+ year as Release Engg.)

I have few doubt

1. what is the overall score we need to get?
2. Is there any sectional cut off? if yes than plz give that also individually.
3. Do we get loan from any bank for this college without any collateral?
4. How is the placement condition here?

-- It varies each year, depending on the difficulty level of test, scores of applications received, etc.

2. Is there any sectional cut off? if yes than plz give that also individually.

-- Until last year we did not had sectional cut-offs. But the same cannot be guaranteed this time. Advise - be prepared for sectional cut-offs.

3. Do we get loan from any bank for this college without any collateral?

-- Until last year, the collateral procedure with the SBI bank could not be materialized on time. Though many other banks like HDFC bank are available, no special tie-up with the college was done. However, we are in the process of getting tie-ups with leading national banks for providing loans to the students from next year onwards.

4. How is the placement condition here?

-- Kindly wait for sometime.

Guys please tell me the cut off mark of SNAP for sibm bangalore last year. And also guide me about GD's and PI's for SIBM

My name is vamsi and i am in my final year b.tech and i have aggregate of 65% and i am preparing CAT and XAT also. I have 87% in 10 standard and 86%in 12th standard. please tell me sectional cutoff and area wise cutoff in SNAP for SIBM Bangalore

The overall SNAP cut-off last year, as far as i rememberedwas 70-72. And a year prior to that was 85. Last year cut-offs are not a good measure to judge the chances of GD/PI call. Each year with the difference in difficulty level of the paper or particular section, changing profile of students the same varies widely. It is better to wait until the exam gets over and people start sharing their experiences. Until then, prepare well for the test, concentrate on all the sections and give your best shot.

m an sibm aspirant .....my prob is that i have a second division in my grads....57 % Do u guys think it can be a problem for me in terms of placememts even if i get into sibm.....this is really gettng on my nerves now....last year i was a reject by sibm pune :(......

Mohit, from your profile, i think u have not copleted your graduation yet. Most Bschools consider only Paid, Full-time work-experience done AFTER graduation is complete.
Even i have an experience of 2 yrs and 8 months in the recruitment industry during my graduation, but it is not considered.
Also, in Mah- CET, the company has to be listed on the BSE/NSE.. experience in highly reputed companies like Walmart or Google wont be considered, just because its listed abroad, and not in India. you can project your experience as an extra-curricular activity.

Also, as far as i know, SIBM B doesnt give much weightage to profile. So your cutoff would more or less be same as that of a fresher.
