Did I read that right?

So in their application form you are supposed to give all the highlights in your career till date and they analyze it? Sounds great!! But I need to know Wat are the major criteria that they consider for this? like....

*academic profile(u know.. 90+ %,hons,medals,etc.,)
*industrial experience
*extra curriculars
*co-curriculars
*achievements(accolades in planning,organization,,etc.,)

Can u throw some light on this... cause if they don consider SNAP scores really too well, or consider the profile too much I hate to say it.. but there s no chance of me coming through

I do love thinking that I am brilliant
If only it was a little easier

Hi,
Firstly greatly placed emotions.

Moving on to your query. All the points that you wrote are considered in the shortlisting process of candidates but one needs to understand that SNAP is a prerequisite and a candidate's score in SNAP is definitely considered and given due weightage in the entire process.

It is a misconception to think that a profile based system gives weightage only to the profile. This process of selection is taken up to ensure that students who had a bad day on SNAP are not completely out of the race.

In fact SCMHRD gives blanket calls to people with good SNAP scores irrespective of their profile. The Blanket Call cut-off last year was 81.25 .

Hope this clears your doubts.

All the Best.

Hi Ruthvic

Was expecting a reply very eagerly. Thank you first for that.
So is there any suggestions on what would be the cut off difference between SIBM(Most wanted) and SCMHRD(second most wanted?) I am not really interested in any other Symbiosis Institutes..Though I am inclined towards applying to SIIB.

IF anyone has any suggestions for improving speed and accuracy in a race like SNAP do, mention it. Currently, I am
*Preparing for CAT rigourously
*reading papers
*Catching up with the sports news using sportstars
*Learning a little gyaan on Share trading for my interview
There s no TV in my flat
Would that be all? Is there anything am missing?

Hi Vijay,

You need to apply SEPARATELY to SCMHRD. You have to log on to Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development ? SCMHRD, Pune and register. Then fill up the online application form and make the payment either online or at selected Axis bank branches or through DD.

The application process will start from 7th November...

For the latest updates regarding admissions please visit Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development ? SCMHRD, Pune.

Re: The Official SCMHRD Admissions 2010-12 thread!! - 03-11-2009, 07:52 PM

Hi,
I know its premature to ask if my profile wud be appropriate to get selected in SCMHRD without SNAP score..
However,I got this question with regard to selection.
In my case,I dont score very high on extra curricular activities..and my profile is like this,

10th---91%
12th---81%
B.E(COMP)--59%

Would appreciate if seniors answer if i would get a chance to get selected with good SNAP score with not so much extra curricular activities..

Regards,
Sohil.
