Hi.i am a fresh commerce grad.out of the 12 colleges under SNAP I had to rule out 4 because i didn't satisfy the elgibilty criteria(engineering graduates and/experienced candidates).so i'm left with SIBM-Pune and bangalore,SCMHRD,SIMC,SIMS,SITM,SIHS,Symbiosis institute of geoinformatics where it says that all graduates are eligible.do any of these institutes make profile based calls like SPJIMR?do a good number of freshers manage to get in?what were the overall and sectional cutoffs for the above institutes for snap 08?

hey from my experience last year i can tell you that scmhrd gives profile based calls and it is one of the best b school around under symbiosis and for sibm p last year the final cut off was 75...cant remember all the sectionals but eng was around 13/14 ,gk was around 8...quants was also on the lower sides(13-15) but lr was probably around 20+
i managed the cut off s but could not convert

hey ashok according to me macet is easier than sanp and competition is also very little...one of the reason is ma cet has limited seats for outside maharastrians so not many take that exam...work ex is considered by almost everyone as far as i know...snaps pattern is different they have max question from lr section...have sectional cut offs....also have gk ...do not have that visual reasoning part as in cet...not sure about the fees part...

SIBM . Programmes . MBA - Full Time . International Students

Symbiosis Society
hey are you sure its 17 lacs?? last time I check i inquired on a similar thread here, I was told its around 3.5 lacs per annum...

I intend to apply as an international student. Am giving my GMAT in November. Does the GMAT score carry any weight when applying or is it only the IELTS that they require??
