hey...plz tell me wen the sale of NMAT forms will start...also how do i prepare for NMAT....i think a score above 100 is necessary to get thru there.......?

Its too early to say how to prepare.. Till last year the exam used to be very easy.. All basic level questions.. Verbal is very easy, DI is the simplest and quant is like a baby..
But this year u never know what will happen.. Sale of NMAT forms are in september..
The marking scheme for last year was NMAT (150) + GD (10) + PI (10) + Work Ex (10)
The total was calculated as NMAT (150*0.8 = 120) + GD,PI and Work ex (30)
As u can c the weightage is completely on NMAT. So hold on for this year's notification.. and then plan accordingly..

wat about placements of the 2009 batch ...... i have heard that all have not been placed .... the tuition fees is also high.... any info guys??

The cutoff for Core MBA program was 91 this time around if I can recollect correctly.For the sectorials, it completely depends on the number of applicants and the number of seats for that particular course.NM has removed some of the sectoral programs from this year.Now, they have Banking and Capital Markets only, and the cut-offs for them were in the range 80-85 this year.A score of 80-82 was enough to fetch a GD/PI call.For Family business, you have to apply separately.There's a separate admission process for the same.

LOL...no, they have no connection at all.They are completely different exams.NMAT is the entrance examination for getting into SVKM's NMIMS only.As far as Question pattern is considered, I am not too sure about how MAT,but for NMAT's pattern, you can refer to Ajay's post.

You can check the website for information regarding placements.The complete batch has been placed.The packages have taken a hit for obvious reasons if you compare it to last year's when the highest was 23 L and avg above 11.
