A question to all puys who made it to a NM this time....
Last year I got a GD call from NM.....there in campus I infact many of us went in thru the buzz that the various specialized course like retail management, pharma management etc and other departments of NM, are now along with only FT MBA...how truth is the fact.....ca u also please put up the last written score and final score who finally made it....

They have in fact scrapped retail mgmt, pharma etc type of courses... Last yr they had all of these and this yr out of these 9-10 courses we have only 3 which are operational which are Actuarial, Banking and Capital Markets...

Besides these, we have the Core MBA program which is General MBA like any other bschool..

We do not have retail, pharma etc in core mba...

The notification is not out yet.

But 1 question, How is the placement scenario in Specialised MBA? Are they as good as the Flagship MBA course? 2008 Placement report not given for MBA Banking. HOw does the placemnt process differ for these two?

I'm sorry... Cant comment on this as I have little info regarding the sectorals.. But from what I've heard the last batch was 100% placed... I have no info on the figures etc.. Any info regarding admissions wud be more than welcomed..

Yes, there are sectional cut-offs but they are pretty low.To clear the overall cut-off,you need to do well in all the other sections any which way.

No, GK is not there in NMAT.So, you can relax.

NM,being a deemed university,does not have reservation for Maharastra students or Mumbai University students.It had Gujarati Quota till a few years back but then, even that has been scrapped.Now, the admissions are through pure merit based on your NMAT score and GD-PI performance.
