Last year I read somewhere that one particular student from NMIMS was placed with a package of 1.5 lacs pa. Not sure how authentic the news was, but it's sad if it was true! Anyone else heard of that as well?

Dear Seniors,
I want to appear for the NMAT this year. I’d want to know whether there are any education loan schemes available on the campus. Since I cannot produce anyone for the collateral security option (personal problems), is it possible for me to get the entire loan amount?

Don't worry, there's hellava time for that to happen... We seniors are here to keep u all posted on the dates, forms, apps, procedures etc etc etc... DOnt worry now...

This piece of news is totally untrue... We have never heard of anything like that...

The Placement Report on NM's website wud speak to u regarding all this...

However I know of the highest package which was around 17-18 lacs... So u cud might as well take a guess that it cant be 1.5 lakh The profiles of students here are amazing... Industries even today take into consideration a lot of things before they can quote such ridiculous figures...

Yes, there are a lot of loan schemes prevailing in the campus. Though I havent taken one so far, I know of a couple of schemes which most of the students here have applied to... We have the SBI Scholar Loan Scheme where they finance your entire education without any collateral... So u dont have to worry about finances once ur into a bschool like NM....


Relax, first just crack the test, get grilled in the rigorous procedure of GD, PI, then get admitted and then think about the loans

Yes, we have Actuarials, Banking and Capital Markets available this yr... These are the only 3 sectoral MBAs being offered in NM...

The batch size of each sectoral program is 30. In all 90 seats for sectoral...

But it is not mentioned in this years notification of NMAT 2009!!!
They have mentioned some other courses this time!!
