hey ... thanks for starting this thread ... now i will ask seniors to come answer all our queries regarding XAT , XLRI and colleges belonging to it ....
!) As per last year examination what is the range ( minimum and maximum in open category ) of marks that were given call for XLRI , XIMB , SPjain( profile based i know but still the range) GIM and LIBA.
2) How many of these college consider sectionals and which one consider overall ...
There is only one way for me ..... Fortunately that's Upward

there is sectional cut off for XIMB
this year it was 96.53 for PGDM with sectionals above 80-82 in all sections
for rural management it is 75.XX and sectional above 53

yup,english part is pretty tough in XAT but manageable if you have prepared well for CAT.so dont worry about that too much.

1.you need to get 30 percent of the toatal marks to get an assured call from the above mentioned institutes with a decent sectional cutoffs.
2.most of the consider sectional cut offs.

1) What are the sectional and OA cut offs for XLRI-BM and PMIR(%ile and otherwise)
2) Weightage for ACADs, if any.
