My query is related to the ESSAY that wee need to write at the time of exam ,to be very frank m an underdog as far as writing an essay is concerned . any help in this regard will be really appreciated..

i dont understand why are guys worried about the essay... concentrate more on getting a good percentile then only your essay would come into play... and you dont need to be a shakespeare... essay mainly gives an insight into your perspective and general awareness which is integral to a manager... so take it easy...

complete it & u will get good %ile other are same as cat

Hey Puys, found this on the XLRI website and thought would be useful. The cutoffs could change this year though.
XAT 2009 had three sections – `Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA)’, `Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation (QA)’ and `Analytical Reasoning and Decision Making Ability (AR)’.
For Personnel Management and Industrial Relations Programme a total of 600 applicants having more than 92.69 percentile in VA, 84.58 percentile in QA, 80.13 percentile in RA, and overall 95.0 percentile have been shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
For Business Management Programme a total of 530 applicants having more than 90.03 percentile in VA, 94.9 percentile in QA, 90.21 percentile in RA, and overall 98.03 percentile have been shortlisted for Personal Interview.
