Hi, I'm trying to register for SIBM Pune and make the payment by credit card, but it does not give me an option to do so, although on the SIBM Pune main admissions page, payment by credit card is mentioned as one of the available payment modes.

I want to know if this is a feature that will be activated later, or if i should go ahead and pay by DD or cash at AXIS bank counter.

dude does it really matter..are they gonna misinterpret only your score....things like this happen everywhere...are you sure abt wht happens at IIMS...what matters in the end is the quality of education that you get out of Symbiosis Institutes...

I am a proud aspirant this year and I advice all the aspirants to stay out of all this rumours and concentrate for SNAP...counting from now, it just 2 months left...

hi dharmesh , i respect your sentiments dude but if something like this do takes place then its nt wrth studying in such a college. the quality of the institute is very much affected by the quality of applicants qualifying for the admission. And if the lot is thru back doors, as mentioned in the above posts, then it do is a thing to contemplate on.

Regarding iims i have never heard anything like this happening. nor have i come across any1 complaining that his/her scores matches with the criteria of a particular iim but stil did nt get the call.

having said above i would like the Symbi seniors to throw some more light on this ..

Hi All
Its suggested that you all write a few mock snap tests, most of the coaching centers can give you mock snap papers.
Rest go thru the syllabus for the test, maths till class Xth, GK is mostly current(business GK, govt policies) with a splash of history, geography, etc.
LR is again not very difficult, mock snap tests should be a good indicator for that.

Work Ex: Freshers ratio 60:40

The policies on management quota seats at SIBM Pune are really clear and transparent. 15% of the seats in the total intake is reserved for management quota.

Give a couple of mock SNAPs before the SNAP 2009 to get a feel of the paper. Also keep yourself in the preparation mode and yes, since the Analytical and Logical Reasoning is the section which carries higher weightage, you can always maximize your scores there. But dont forget that SIBM Pune has sectional cut offs also. You need to clear all sectional cut offs as well as the overall cut off in order to get a call for GD PI.
