Also, I went through most of your posts and I got a very generalized answer as to the work one does after IRMA. People have only mentioned NGO's and other companies which hire IRMAN's. But what is the exact nature of work one does after joining them?
Is it just product based or we directly deal with the rural masses?
Would there be more work satisfaction in joining IRMA or IAS?

Why you should pursue IRMA or IAS is not something that we can help you on.THats a personal choice.
THere is a hell lot of difference between an IAS officer and an IRMAN.
Not everyone who comes to IRMA or who becomes an IAS officer has "all round social development" as their aim.
IRMANs excel in NGOs, Corporate world, Donor organisations and co operatives. IAS is restricted to the government. Also there are IRMA alumni who are IAS officers.
My personal view is this: IRMA devlelops you into a well rounded personality. Attuned to modern practices of management and in touch with hard hitting realities.
After two years you have to decide what you will do with the skill sets acquired at IRMA;whether you want to work at grass root level, help producer organisations in rural areas, do microfinance, reasearch on rural development, join politics or sell pink soaps of FMCG companies

It is upto you to decide.
I hope i have been able to clear some doubt which was prevalent in your mind.
Cheers
