yeah ok serious now. after failing to clear the exam, for 2008 i made a simple startegy.

total geographical area: 329
2) total reported area : 306 ( 100%)
3)barren land ,
not available for cultiavation: 42 (14%)
4)area under forests: 69 (23%)
5)permanent postures and
grazing land: 11 (3%)
6)cultuvable waste land: 18 (6%)
7)fallow lands: 25 (8%)
8 )net sown area: 141 (46%)
9)area sown more tha once: 49 (16%)
10)total cropped area: 190 (62%)
the figures are in million hectares


yaar total forest cover %age in PD is 20.60.........but its contradictory with ur figure.. so wat to do with such confusions.. it can be there in many figures...

read this table clearly..
reported area is given at 306 and its is taken as base .. so 23% of 306 is forest area.
while in pd its given 20.64% of total area which is 329.

i have given this exam thrice, cleared twice.
i am not applying currently for prm. though i am already being selected for cpdm-2. dont know when its gonna start. prm, i will apply again after 2-3 yeas, when i am ready for it.


oh great!! so any last mins tips from the VETERAN ..!!(esp social issues)

But why u think u r not ready 4 it at present..?
