I am appearing for SNAP dec for the first time....Pls suggest me some good books...
please do my profile evaluation:
1.Class 10-74%
2.Class 12-64%
3.BE(computer Science && Engg):63%
I am interested in joining SCIT...what are my chances getting into SCIT...???

there ain't any specific books for snapjust get ur di, quant n verbal done...try referring to r.s. agarwal
u also can get material from the various coaching classes for entrance exams
also refer to prev yrs SNAP papers SNAP is comparatively easy but lengthy...so while in the paper if u get stuck somewhere, leave the question n proceed to the next one.

now your getting into scit depends on the score you get
your profile is good enough
do well in snap n the foll processes...n u will sail thru!!!

hey i am preparing for snap,just to get through scit-niti...i did my engg in electronics and telecomm(y.o.p-2008,mumbai.....have a work ex of 16months....1 year of teaching ccna at an institute and 4 months of telecom engr at tata communications...i am ccna certified and persuing ccnp these days....have quit the job to study for entrance exams..my question to all scitians is since what may be the cut-off this year as the program has changed to ITBM and all other specializations are now electives....since ITBM cut-off has been quite high compared to others...also,i have 60 % in 10th and 12th but 55 in B.E.....so i lose 10 marks there,plus m neither a comp nor an IT engr...i lose 5 there as well....

it wld be a bit difficult to estimate the next years' cutoff for ITBM
But over the years demand for ITBM has been on a steady increase
You can expect a cutoff around 75 for next years course

Duration is of 30 months
Eligibility is at least 3 yrs of work-ex

Can any1 tell me what type job profile we will be getting after doing MBA from SCIT.Does it involve coding too??(becoz am already working in a software company nad really want to quit coding but want to stay in IT field)
