I m very mch interested in SIMC and want 2 know abt other colleges of symbi wich offer MBA in advertising/communication/media....

any specific study pattern or jst go thru d same as of CAT?

SIMC is the only one in symbi league for advertising and mmc.you can target MICA for that.as far as study pattern is concerned you need no extra fancy prep for snap.CAT prep will cover everything.all you need to do is to read all the happenings between jan to october for GK section or you can read management compass for that.

In order to get into SIMC the emphasis should obviously be more on english a high score is imperative. Dont know about the cut off though.

dont remember the exact cut-off
but yes as pointed out by katrinaoz777 va/rc holds the key
the reason being that the qa score is halved and the va/rc score is doubled to get the final score

I have a very basic question....
wat is d general cut off for the SNAP test?
& wat is d cut off for SIBM, SCMHRD & SIMC.... as in generally?

anybody...help...

I started a thread abt boycotting SNAP. But the mods closed it
I say a big NO to SNAP. Y waste 1500 bucks for a cheat game? My score was given 69 last time and later rectified to 80. I had calculated it to be more according to TIME and IMS keys.

Lets boycott SNAP. Wat say puys??

there is nothing called a general cut-off for snap
every college has its own cut-off...it changes from year to year
any score above 80 is generally considered good
but again its too early to comment anything
simc cut-offs are generally on the lower side...ranging from 40-60 but that also depends on how much you have score in va section

you are absolutely right on your part
even i faced the same problem
but then again colleges dont have any part in the snap test...its is conducted by siu
and there are quite a few good colleges under snap like sibm, scmhrd....so boycotting the exam will also mean that you are losing an opportunity to study in these colleges
in any case i believe this should be a personal choice

well so basically one can be assured of a call from simc wth a score of around 60 plus wth a min 20 score in va??????????????????

cause va gets doubled so..........
