As if there were 100 in total and most of them are members of PG.

All 99+ percentile callers, please give us some insight into the preparation.

getting a mere 99+ doesn't match our aspirations.....its just some 1000 all india rank....
the people we really need to learn from are those who have made it to the top 5 ranks or so.....for instance, my batchmate Rohit Khandela from IIT Delhi, Civil.

hii ..i got 97.6 with out preps .....and i guess that 1 can easily get above 99 if 1 scores 30 or more marks in english ..after all u needed more than 62 to get above 99 mark in CAT 2003 ...and its not big deal i guess ......

Oh really? Read their biography or auto if available.

Sorry dude, I don't know how well you have gauged CAT the competition.
Don't call them some 1000 ranks. It needs quite some effort to get that.

59 meant 99 percentile last time with 1/3 as negative marking.

two people of the six who got 100 percentile are from PES engg college, bangalore. one of my friends got 99.76 and got into iim-k from that college.

could u also tell the cutoff for quant section for 2003...

there isn't any such thing as cut off unless u are pathetic.

16 marks meant 98 percentile.
18.66 meant 99.
30 meant 100.
9 meant 82.
there were 14 percent candidates with net score 0 in Quant of retest 2003.

You don't get calls from A, B, C, L if your sectional percentile is less than 90, and ofcourse exceptions are there in which case u need to have blasted the other 2 sections.
