there is a request to all those who are appearing for gd/pi's on 13-16th......

please ask them the reason for other sectoral courses being closed and also....if they can give us any assurance that 2009-11 is not going to be the last batch of capital mkts/actuarial sciences courses....

i have given my gdpi for both .
my score is 94 in nmat
can any one tell about the no. of students of ftmba appeared for actuarial and capital also
i have nt given the gdpi for ftmba

they are adopting the same process as in ftmba
nmat score*4/5 + gd/pi/work-ex marks

how many groups were there and how many slots......i mean to ask the total no of non ftmba students who appeared for these courses gdpi?

any specific type of ques related to these courses in pi?

and i wonder if anyone from ur group asked them about the reason for other sectoral courses being closed and the future of cm and as course...?

Hi,

I appeared for GD PI for cap mkt last weekend. I did ask them questions on this. They said that initially it was supposed to be merged with core MBA, then BSE raised an objection to that as they recognise this course and also they assured that cap mkt would exist for atleast another couple of years.

i am having an experience of 18 months in IT industry
and NM people hv mentioned in their site that people with finance background are preffered.
ddoes that mean that i will not be judged upon my work ex......

I wd like to know a little about the placemnets of CAP Markets and Acturies courses.
Are they confined to Mumbai or can i easily expect to be placed in Delhi-NCR.
Really looking forward to sm reply from seniors or alumni because this is easily the criterion on which ill decide whether to join (assuming ill get thrgh either)
