I had an impression that written score carry a very high weightage in the admission process. I'd heard that its around 70% and its very difficult to get through if you score < 99.5%ile and virtually impossible for anything below 99.25.
I have an FMS(FT) convert and thought that I might have a very high %ile score. But yesterday when I checked, it was just 99.024%ile. Though I had a very good performance in both GD and PI, i think the weightage of written wouldn't be this high.
Anyone less then 99 and still got converted???
CAT 2008 - 99.93  ; XAT 2009 - 99.48 ; FMS 2009 - 99.024
Calls - IIM ACLKI  , XLRI (BM), FMS (MBA), MDI (PGPM)
Converts - IIM ACKI  , FMS (FT)
Waitlisted - XLRI (BM) - 56 
Rejects - IIM L (as if i care)
Did not attend - MDI (PGPM)

Could anyone guide me as to why it shows that i'm not in the list of appeared candidates for FMS-MBA ft but it shows my Mba-ms percentile. . i've applied for both and got call for ms. . Pls help

Saw tht some ppl hv converted evn with 60 odd %ile in some sections...nothing personal against anybody but shudn't there be a sectional cut-off. fr tht matter was thr a sectional cutoff at all????

Yes..... every section had a 50 %ile cutoff....
Do they release rankings ? Coz only the top 32 get the hostel accomodation...

Acc to meshed (post #12), the last percentile we know of now is 98.3xy. Not sure whether its in general category or not.
Man he/she must have had an amazing GDPI. I can only imagine...

Are you talking about general category people? Bcoz FMS calls are completely on the basis of written score. And considering some 500 odd calls given to arnd 45-50,000 exam takers frm general cat, i dont think that anyone below 98.8 would get a call. Comments anyone???
