The reason is that once more people post below the initial post (which has the link to the spreadsheet), the link gets lost and people are unable to find it. Whereas in case of excel sheet, since it gets uploaded again and again, it always remains in the last few posts and is easily accessible. Therefore, I would suggest to go forward with the excel sheet only as it was done last year and that too with great success.
Also I would recommend that (whether excel sheet or google spreadsheet) we use seperate files for BM and PMIR waitlist tracking. This way it would be easier to track waitlists for both the courses separately. Putting them together would make the analysis more difficult and less comprehensible.
The file i've made contains a list of BM people only. Would request someone to make a similar list of people selected/waitlisted for PMIR.

hey karan I understand but the prime concern in this thread is to get that details updated and in any case I don't see a huge number of posts here and the ones are for updating data
having a spreadsheet would get more participation as it is easier to update ......
neways I would not like to create a confusion here ... so i am not posting the link again
I have though changed the name as mentioned to BM and PMIR tracker because in any case pmir data has been added to the post

Would go with Karan. Excel sheet is easy to maintain and locate (since it is in recent posts).
Regarding PMIR list. Just wait for a week, we have our end-terms now. I shall make a compiled list (like we did last year), if someone else doesn't come up with it.

Added your preference. And info abt another friend of mine - Vaibhav, who's not on PG.
I request everyone to also update information about their frnds who may not be a member on PG. But make that sure its genuine.
Seems like we are moving forward with the excel sheet only then. Keep up the gud work guys...

Hey Guys,
I am not able to visit the xls sheet ( if I download it a php page is saved not the xls, and if I double click on it, its empty). I have tried both firefox and IE. I think most of us might be facing the same problem. Resolving this issue therefore becomes highest priority.
I guess protocol so far decided is that we will go with xls sheet ( easier to manage and stuff), but at least it should be accessible.
As for me I am surely going to join BM course. Best of luck to all others puys. See you at XLRI.
