I am in with a waitlist no. of 4.  This means I am surely getting a seat. Last year, confirmations went till waitlist 90 (got this info from some other puy). Based on this, I think that this year, wait list confirmations will go at least till WL-70. Hope this info can help other puys who are in the waitlist.:angel:

Hi All,
Congratulations to all who got selected and those in the waiting list.
I had an experience with SIIB last year and would like to share a bit of Info about waitlist
1. Waitlist was cleared @ 123 approx last year. So this time you may see the list going a bit low i.e. around 100-110, as recession is pouring and people prefer education in these times of slow down.
2. Last year i had heard about corporate sponsored candidates: If you want to go for that i think you need to fill up a form (as per last year) and sent it to them if you think you are having a rank which mit not fetch you admission.They will then reply accdngly.
And yes lastly - SIIB is a good college in terms of Infra, Hostel, Culture et al and yes Placements. Students @ SIIB are marked by their personalities which more than impress the people they meet.
The people selected a SALUTE TO YOU. YOU DESERVE THE VICTORY - PARTY TIME.

hey frnds.
i got WL 96.
guys any chances.? do they also announce 2nd and 3rd waiting list? i mean is it impossible to get 96 in the first list.?
frnds i have got thru ICFAI hyderabad. i was waiting for the siib result, finally i feel i should not wait for any more merit list from siib, coz i really dont think that WL96 (general) would have any chances of clearance.
seniors what say!!!!! what was the case last year, FOR THE GENERAL CATEGORY.

Yes - 95% you are IN. Tough to relax but don worry.LAST YEAR 2008 waitlist list cleared for WL -123 approx.

here its 24th
i personally feel 96 is almost a good convert... but then considering ur position, i would say, talkto a few seniors at both places
and also be clear as to which one would u join if u were to make it at both places
