wel for starters, congratulations, its a pretty decent rank.....now we actually dont know whether u have a chance or not. this is the first time ranks, marks, sectionals, cut-offs are being displayed so last year we just went in with the notion of giving our best and then hoping for it.

if we consider 70% weightage to written , the difference between u and 30th ranker( actual nos of seats for gen people) wont be much....so al in al u have a definitve chance.....

even IF u land up in 1st w8ing list of around 40( besides the merit list of 30 students), u are bound to convert

1:6 is the seats to call ratio, 70% weightage to written paper, rest distributed between gd/pi/acads/workex

hey guys ...i also got the call for GDPI ......!!!!!!!!!

ca any one give us idea about the GDPi rounds......!!! which topics are important and what should be the profile of candidate to be prefered..!!!!

i will be thankful if someone post the improtant link for GD preparation !!!!

wl rank 30-40(i.e. merit rank of 60-70) for gen category

Gd=>3-4 observers, u all be seated on a semi circular table, group of 7-8 people ...topics usually are social, economic, abstract, anythin under the sun

PI=>a different panel from gd.....questions mainly from ur sop, acads, why srcc and yes very imp for work ex people " are u ready to leave money for next two years and come to srcc"
