hii all.. congratulations to all the call getters.. those who cudnt make it.. there are always better things in store

so now the next step is to face GD/PI... last year most of the topics were abstract... well I feel abstract topics are in a way good... coz it does not give any advantage to one having knowledge about the current affairs.. coz ten it's all imagination.. hw well u can think and put your point across..

but still there were topics on social and economic issues.. reading newspaper is must.. also read at least one business magazine.. last year the interview questions were based on current scenario and acads.. so ppl pull up your socks and start preparing well

check the notice.pdf on the website, its clearly written gd/pi dates are 27,28,29th march

sir my rank is 30 in the written result of gbo 2009 and i have got 5 years of experience as navigation officer in merchant navy , i have got 71 percentage in bsc nautical sciences from mumbai university and have represented rajasthan in nationals in TAE KWON DO , can u please tell me my chances of conversion. besides i have got call from tiss for hr gd is on 17th , can u tell the better options of the two.

hey preeti Congrats for ur caL, its a pretty gud rank, ur chances of conversion are absolutely superb, don worry abt this

As far as choosing between tiss and Gbo is concerned , plz go for tiss( hr) if u are selected....its a verygud college, at par with XL and IIMs . Moreover while choosing a college u shud think whether the course wud do justice to ur work-exp or not, m sorry to say but anything less than top 15 colleges of india, wud be a cumplete waste....hope u got the idea
