It was one very bad interview and lasted for around 20 minutes.

M - I am not that famous yet sir!
P1 - You will be famous (smiles all around)
P1 - So you finished your schooling in Bangalore
M - Yes Sir
P1 - (before I could finish) and joined BMSCE.
(A little chit-chat about my college's location in Bangalore.)
P1 - Even BMSCE has MBA program. Have you tried for that?
M - No Sir, I am looking to get into one of top 10 schools in India.
P1 - Top 10, hmm, how do you decide top ten?
M - Told the usual parameters and concluded saying that it is subjective and is based on one's judgement.
P1 - You have any IIM calls?
M - Told
(No question on my preference)

P1 reads out the company am working for, my salary etc
P1 - Why you want to leave xxx and go for MBA?
M - Blaah...
P1 is not convinced
P1 - why did you take the strategic decision of doing MBA
M - Blaah...

P1 asks 8 fact based questions like chairman of TRAI, Knowledge commission etc
M - I don't know sir (repeat 8 times)

(P1 signals to P2 and P3 that he has completed his part)

M - (confused this with NASDAQ) it is a stock exchange like BSE

M - Don't know :(

M - Told

M - Told

M - Told

M - Don't know

M - (only thing on my mind was to get over with this interview asap)

M - Told about my work ex a little
P1,P2,P3 - That's it, it was nice talking to you thank you
M - thank you.( My agony finally ended) :unhappy:

No questions on the horrible essay that i had written
No questions on the online questionnaire and my answers to them.
(questions on above wasn't required i guess)
I was completely surprised by the knowledge of P1 about my company !!
I can conveniently forget that I ever gave this interview.:death:
