Do u remember what were the GD topics like at the time of your GD_PI. were they abstract or related more to current affairs or maybe something else

I have few general questions

1. Is there any increse in intake in IIT-D this year?

2. How many students from GEN and OBC have been called fpr the GD-PI?
ie What is the cutoff rank ?

3. When are the interview dates. Mine in on 3rd March 8.00am

4. How long is the process. Can I book an evening flight back home on the same day?

5. How long does it take from airport to IIT-D campus in traffic and non traffic hours?

Hi, Got call from DMS IIT Delhi. I have a very stupid query, but let me ask... the attestation, can it be done by any govt official ? say a bank officer ??

GD topics last year were abstract. Eg All's well that ends well...
However in DMS PI, stress is laid on current affairs and general management concept like public-private partnership, corporate social responsibility etc.

1) We will get an official confirmation regarding exact number of seats soon, we will update it as and when we get it .Yes there is increase in intake, we will update the details as and when we get it.

2) We wont be disclosing the last rank called as of now.

3) Interview dates are 27,28th Feb and 1st March

4) On 1st march process will be over by 1800 hours, you can book late evening flight.

5) In traffic hours it takes max 1.5 hrs maximum(there is no upper limit though, yeh dilli hai) and non-traffic it takes max 1 hr.

Any govt official will do as long as he is a gazzetted officer
