guyz
i got a score of 76..still no scmhrd call..ppl having lesser sectionals and overall score have got calls...i dunt have any work ex..can anybody shed some light on this..i atleast expected scmhrd call!

Hi,

Got a call from SCMHRD........The first real good news in the new year for me........I have selected 15th Feb 09, Sunday (9:00 AM) for my GD/PI slot........

About me:

SNAP Score: 71.5
Chemical Engineering Graduate from NIT, Rourkela
Graduation CGPA: 8.72
Class 12th: 86.2%
Class 10th: 91.4%

Loads of extra curricular activities at state, national, inter college and inter school level........

Please shed some knowledge on what can be expected next in the GD/PI round...Is is gonna be elimination round...? Or what was the experiences for the past years' GD/PI rounds...

Check this thread and yes the seniors have confirmed that this time all of us will be facing all rounds and then based on cumulative performance we will be offered admissions

Need some advice....

I have shoulder length hair right now and I really really do not want to cut it short :( but am willing to do it if I need to.

So guys what do you think.. should i get my hair cut b4 appearing for the SCMHRD GD/PI.. Will they be less than impressed??

p.s. if it helps to know.. i look good in it and i am pretty well groomed

lol....:new_scatter: see mba interview look for the confidence , attitude, communication skills etc. That is why Personal Interviews are conducted -- to test if you have some crucial qualities needed in a good manager. A large proportion of a person’s impression of you depends on your body language and tone of voice. so it doesnt matter whether ur hair is shoulder length o more than that. its not looks dat impress panelist but ur overall personality,they assess ur capabilities, skills and level of experience. During the personal interview , candidates are evaluated on the basis on their confidence level, ability to act under pressure and their understanding of the subject that they are applying for.

Dude I really dont think hair length is going to be any measure ..Just look decent..come in formals...I think it will more than enough..even I have a small beard right on my chin..and I am not going to remove it
