The same site does not open..It looks the same..But they are all different links pointing to different IITs...
And the news is right... There are a few who have got different result according to different sites...So, would advise you to check all...

You can apply to IIT Kanpur,IIT Kharagpur,IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee.

IIT B is out of question & you are on border for IIT D.
But i believe you must apply for all IITs but for IIT B.

You have an outside chance for Kanpur & Madras.
For roorkee, chances are relatively better

Okay Puys!

See if you can help me. I am qualified as per IIT D, K & R results(Reg-702260, AIR 5431 OBC). I am not qualified according to IIT B, Kgp & M results.

So, I feel that, I am eligible to apply to D, K & R... and ineligible to apply to B, Kgp & M.

Is this the case or am I confused! I have never seen some thing this strange before! Am I a peculiar case? D, K, & R says "Rank card will be sent to you shortly."

Also, sumit cud u tell how to understand these ranks... as i have also the got 631 as AIR... does that mean that actually there could be many more than 630 guys ahead of me.... if each AIR has multiple ppl... or do they dont give the next AIR at all... means 5 ppl score the maximum marks, say 120... so the next highest score will get an AIR of 6.

There may be multiple ppl at the same rank. all it means is that your aggregate total is same.
Eg- If there are 20 persons having a score of 78, and all of then having a rank of 1500, then the next rank would be 1520.

Sumit can you comment something about the results plz. Since you are from Kanpur you must be having a clear idea or atleast you can get some relevant info about the discrepancies in the result!! wy are diff sites showing diff results! why is it that many ppl expecting high scores are being shown as NOT QUALIFIED. ll appreciate if you shed some light on it!!
