In my centre, the people around me were using calculators and openly cogging around and there was hardly any invigilation in the overcrowded class..my advice to these people would be - Guys, u rather go ahead and cheat in exams like these and ultimately cheat urselves but the fact of the matter is this..it is NM and not an IIM...all the best and keep it up..."

Hi Friends,
I am really shocked and surprised after going through the thread pages. I have been able to attempt around 105 questions,but seeing the extent to which the cheating has been done I am very sure my rank is going to fall drastically. Its acceptable that there has been some misconduct at one of the center but every other puy is coming up with such cases. I was betting on NMIMS, but its seems a distant dream.
In fact few of my friends had given me the advice to select the center in remote area to take similar advantage, so this means such acts are in practiced from long.
All the best for NMIMS aspirants 2009, I hope you get a fair game to play.

I always doubt the credibility of this institute......this institute just goes thru the selection procedure just for the sake of it....
guys who will get shortlisted will get to know hw important it was to perform well in written....and the written exam they conduct is full of cheating......this is not the first time its happening and the institute also knws abt it....but still there is no action....actually there is no point in raising voice here ....its not Rang de bansanti...

anyways i have dumped this institute twice and feels good abt my decesion

alright i dint know where to send the feedback so i just clicked the feedback button on the site and asked them to give me back my time and money since they havent really conducted an exam lol.

i got a few "none of these" too,,,i remember double checking one where the answer came out to be 29,,while the options had 39. people with calcis during the exams please confirm ....

I am a fresher. I have written all the exams starting from I.R.M.A. had not got any calls till now. I prepared for this exam very rigorously spent lot of time on preparing. this is like last chance for me. if this failed. I must now start all the way from the first looking for jobs. In the exam, for all 2 hrs I hardly took breath
I just can't understand how can people be so insane.
We must never let such people to get away with their act and jeopardize our chances.

Even i remember marking "mankind" and "unification" for that science and spirituality line.( not sure..do not remember exactly)

a) a normal puy
b) any tom-di*k-harry

Well, I don't think so.
So it comes down to an average T-D-H.

in QA/DI
5 DS q. 5 series based q (can NOT be solved by calc "at all").
for arnd 20 questions in QA/DI, you had to interpret the data and only then you could have proceeded with the calc.
and there were at max 25-30 direct maths questions (still these required bringing all numbers to one side, checking what to come in numerator and what in denominator)
all in all, it wud hv taken some time for the T-D-H".

plus i think if u r in such a state of mind (read copying-cheating), your concentration goes for a spin.
then attempting LR's 50 questions for T-D-H would have been too much.

all in all, the point i am trying to make is... please relax.
Scoring 90+ wont be easy even with the calc.
its unfair coz u knw u wud hv done wonders with it. but thats because you are sure abt ur va and lr skills and calc is a sure shot way of perfecting qa too.
but think of that guy, if he is that unsure abt his abilities that he is resorting to such means, what level of preparation he wud be having for the other 2 sections.

Regarding my center... well, the exam was conducted with immense professionalism except for the case when a guy was permitted to go to the loo (in the middle of the exam) only after waiting for 30 odd minutes when a senior authority came and he gave the permission.
(if that guy is on puy, sorry mate, intention not to make fun of you, just abt the situation. i knw its really cold here in northern India.)

ps: well, abt all the vella time that i had to post this, plz thank my someone important who has gone home for 3 weeks. phew! :wink:

Do you really think that someone with calc(refer my above post) will score more than 95?
coz going by past standards.. 85 u'll get the call, but conversion rate is high only for scores above 95.

You should back yourself for making it through. If u hv done well, u will anyways get more than 100 and eventually convert it. No one can stop you from doing that.
