basically anyone getting a score of less than 95-96 has no chance of getting a final call.
i wonder why NMIMS gives calls to so many people. becuase they charge money for gd-pi and so they basically earn a profit. i just hope they increase the weightage given to gd-pi so that rank 1500 has a realistic chance of getting through.

I had given the last year NMAT whic had 10-12 Quants Q which were very easy and doable in 10-15 sec. This year Straight Fwd Questions were missing. So i guess this year Cutoff will be down by6-8% May be arnd 78-80. But lets wait for the result.

Dude,
Same here.. Total attempt 109..
VA : 39
QA : 37
LR : 33.
cut off would be 80+

I attempted all the questions... English Accuracy and hence my score in comparison with the cutoff will be deciding factor for me getting a call or not... Last year got a call but couldn't convert... The rank dropped from 657 before GD/PI to 1200 after GD/PI...
One clue to the ParaJumbles set was that the Statement "F" was supposed to be the 3rd one... (Because the questions were to identify 1,2,4,5,6 statements after unjumbling and none of the questions had "F" as an option in it)
This could have given an easy way to identify atlest the 1,2 statements... The rest were tough though!!!

Will putting up a poll for the number of attempts make any sense?
I'll give a few examples:
A friend of mine attempted 108 last year and got a score of 103.
Another friend attempted 130+ and got a score of 89.
I attempted 96 and got 85.
So, accuracy is the most important thing.
Now, we had a poll on last year's thread which required to fill in your expected score. (Based on your general accuracy levels and discretion). Now, we all know that this method isn't fool proof too.
So we don't yet have a solution. Please come up with any alternatives. Else, we'll have the attempts'/expected score poll.

Well, Not really. There are many people who converted their call even after a early 90 or a late 89 score.
Although, I really hope the weightage does change this time.
